Presidential polls : 35 complaints of election law violations in 24 hours

The National Election Commission has received 35 complaints in the last 24 hours ending at 04:30 pm on Monday.

All complaints were related to violations of election laws, the Election Commission said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the total number of election-related complaints lodged with the Commission from July 31, 2024, to August 19, 2024, was 666, out of which 642 were related to election law violations.

349 of these complaints were received by the National Centre for Election Complaint Management, while 293 were received by the District Centres for Election Complaint Management.

The National Election Commission reports that only one complaint of election violence has been reported during this period. (Newswire)
