MP Dayasiri Jayasekara said that more than 30 political rallies and meetings of President Ranil Wickremesinghe have been cancelled due to a lack of public support.
“There is infighting in that camp. Ranil Wickremesinghe has no supporters and that campaign is done,” Jayasekara said, adding that those who defected from other parties to join Wickremesinghe are now regretting their decision.
Jayasekara said that a majority of President Ranil Wickremsinghe’s supporters will soon join the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) to support its leader Sajith Premadasa. (Newswire)
