President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will address the nation at 7.30 pm this evening (25) where he is expected to outline the government’s plans for the future.
Dissanayake, who took office on Monday emerged victorious in the recently concluded presidential election with over 5.6 million votes.
Yesterday, the President appointed Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, along with a three-member cabinet, overseeing 15 different portfolios.
