Former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte, arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and causing an accident in Kollupitiya, has been remanded until December 9.
The incident occurred late last night, with police confirming Ratwatte was intoxicated at the time. He was apprehended at the scene following a minor collision.
This comes shortly after Ratwatte was released on bail over an unrelated case involving an illegally assembled vehicle.
