Dehiwala-Mt. Lavinia Police reported a shooting incident earlier today where two men on a motorcycle opened fire at an individual in the area.
Police said that 24 year old from Badowita area died from the shooting incident.
Authorities confirmed the swift arrest of one suspect along with the firearm used in the attack. Investigations are underway, with police noting a recent rise in shooting incidents in the area.
