Jaffna District MP Archchuna Ramanathan has requested the government to allocate security and a vehicle for his use, over possible threats to his life.
Addressing the Parliament today, MP Archchuna said 24 cases have been filed against him, of which none are related to personal incidents.
Pointing out recent shootings near court premises, he further said that he travels to and from the North and requires security and a vehicle allocated.
He questioned if the government would take responsibility if anything were to happen to him.
MP Archchuna Ramanathan also questioned Parliament why he was not allocated time to speak.
He also referred to the NPP Government as a murderous Government, referring to the JVP’s past (Newswire)
