A 23-year-old man was found hacked to death in an abandoned land on Huludhagoda Road in Mount Lavinia last afternoon.
According to the Police, the victim is a resident of Mahindarama Road in Ratmalana.
The victim’s brother had filed a complaint with the Mount Lavinia Police after the victim had left home on 30 April and not returned home.
The body has been placed at the Kalubowila Hospital for the postmortem examination to be conducted.
The Mount Lavinia Police have launched an investigation to find the suspects involved in the murder. (Newswire)
