Sri Lanka Railways has launched special train services from May 9 to 13 to manage increased passenger demand during the long weekend and the state Vesak festival.
The additional services will run on two key routes: Colombo Fort to Badulla and Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai, the Department of Railways said.
The special schedule includes Vesak Night and Morning Specials between Colombo Fort and Badulla, and Intercity Express services between Colombo Fort and Kankesanthurai. (Newswire)
