The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has announced that it will carry out awareness programs and raids across the country during the Vesak season.
Special attention will be given to vendors and items such as Atapirikara, religious offerings, incense sticks, decorative items, and electric bulbs commonly used during Vesak.
A special program will also be implemented in the Nuwara Eliya District in line with the state Vesak celebrations. (NewsWire)
