The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs has denied links to the educational programmes offered by the Sri Lanka National Youth Services Co-operative Society (NYSCO).
Issuing a statement, the ministry said its name and official government logo had been utilised by the institution without approval for the promotion of its educational programmes.
Based on the instructions of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE), the ministry has appointed a committee to probe the matter.
The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs further reiterated that it is not affiliated with any of the courses or programmes offered by NYSCO. (Newswire)
