The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, Winston Peters, will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from 24 – 28 May 2025.
According to Sri Lanka’s Foreign Ministry, during this visit, Deputy PM Winston Peters is expected to pay courtesy calls on President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka and PM Harini Amarasuriya.
He will further hold bilateral discussions with Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath, with the discussion focused on enhancing cooperation in the areas of trade and investment, agriculture, education, connectivity, tourism and sports.
Deputy PM Winston Peters is also expected to have several private sector and media engagements during the visit.
He will be accompanied by three senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand. (Newswire)
