Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has launched an area-by-area outreach campaign aimed at identifying and addressing issues faced by communities across Sri Lanka.
Premadasa said the initiative, led by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), is designed to bring immediate attention to local problems and pressure relevant authorities to act. He plans to travel from area to area, meeting residents, inspecting conditions, and advocating for improvements in infrastructure, sanitation, and public services.
“This campaign is about taking real issues to the national level and ensuring people’s voices are heard,” Premadasa said.
The move follows his recent visit to the Maligawatte housing complex, where residents raised concerns about poor maintenance and lack of government support. Premadasa pledged to follow up on the issues and advocate for timely solutions. (Newswire)
