For the second consecutive year, Sri Lanka proudly joined 26 cities across the globe in hosting MeasureCamp, the world’s leading unconference for digital analytics and data professionals. Organized in partnership with the Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL), MeasureCamp Sri Lanka 2025 was a standout success drawing around 275 participants and setting a new benchmark for local engagement in the data and digital space.

Unlike traditional conferences, MeasureCamp is an unconference: a participant-led event where the agenda is created on the day, and anyone can volunteer to run a session. This format fosters a uniquely open, collaborative environment, encouraging spontaneous learning, real-world insights, and peer-driven discussion.

This year’s edition saw a remarkable 40 speaker sessions, up from 32 last year, reflecting a growing willingness among attendees to share knowledge and take the stage. Several ticket drops sold out in under five minutes, demonstrating just how eager Sri Lanka’s analytics and digital professionals are to connect and contribute. “MeasureCamp Sri Lanka has become a cornerstone for our data and digital community, ” said Hisham Zulfiqar, Chairperson of MeasureCamp Sri Lanka 2025 and Executive Committee member of DMASL. He also quoted, “the second year shows how far we’ve come. The energy, the knowledge-sharing, the enthusiasm, it’s all proof that Sri Lanka is ready to lead in digital innovation, not just participate.”

The event was hosted at the IIT City Office, the official venue partner, and supported by a strong network of community-focused sponsors including O3, People’s Bank, Domino’s Pizza, Paan Paan, Coca-Cola, Anchor Hot Chocolate, CBL Munchee, Impact Strategy Labs, and Street 82. Their contributions helped create an engaging and seamless experience for attendees throughout the day.

Arjun Jeger, the President of DMASL, highlighted the broader impact: “Organizing MeasureCamp through DMASL is part of our ongoing mission to uplift Sri Lanka’s digital sector. Events like this empower professionals to connect and grow and help us shape a stronger, more future-ready digital economy.” As MeasureCamp continues to thrive worldwide, Sri Lanka’s edition is fast becoming a key destination on the global unconference ma
