A number of electoral organizers of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) have decided to resign from their positions.
This decision comes in response to issues that have arisen regarding the appointment of representatives to local government bodies following the recent local government elections.
Accordingly, Bandarawela seat organizer and MP Chaminda Wijesiri, Horowpothana seat organizer Anura Buddhika, Dambulla seat organizer Attorney Champaka Wijerathna, Rattota seat organizer and Deputy National Organizer Ranjith Aluwihare, Nuwara Eliya District Co-Organizer Anagipura Ashoka Sepala, and Galle seat organizer Bandulal Bandaragoda have all decided to step down from their organizing roles.
They have submitted their letters of resignation to Party Leader Sajith Premadasa and General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara. (Newswire)
