The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for strong winds in the Western slopes of the central hills of the Northern, North-central and North-western provinces and the Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
According to the department, the weather advisory is effective until 12.30 pm tomorrow (29 May).
Red alerts have been issued for 14 districts, while amber alerts have been issued for 11 districts during this period. (Newswire)
