The Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation, Janitha Ruwan Kodithuwakku, participated in a special inspection tour yesterday to check the progress of the government housing complex being constructed in Malapalla, Kottawa.
This housing complex, being built to resettle residents currently residing on land belonging to the Railway Department, consists of 120 houses.
Residents who are staying on railway lands from Nawinna to Padukka are to be resettled in this housing complex.
Deputy Minister Janitha Ruwan Kodithuwakku instructed that this project, for which much work has already been finished, be completed expeditiously and be vested with the public soon. (Newswire)
