A total of 1757 persons from 485 families in 09 districts have been severely affected due to the adverse weather conditions experienced in Sri Lanka.
According to the Disaster Management Centre, one death has been reported in the Puttalam District, as of 09.00 am today.
The Disaster Management Centre further said that 08 persons have been injured in various disaster incidents.
