Sri Lanka recorded 120,120 tourist arrivals from 01-28 May 2025, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
India led the list with 42,899 visitors, accounting for 35.7% of total arrivals this month.
The United Kingdom (8,382) and China (7,965) followed as the second and third top source markets. Germany, Bangladesh, and Australia were also among the leading contributors.
Compared to May 2024, this marks a 7.1% increase in arrivals, reflecting a steady post-pandemic tourism recovery. (Newswire)
