A woman has been arrested at the Katunayake Airport with 366 grams of Kush Cannabis, while a man has been arrested for aiding and engaging in drug peddling.
According to the Police, the duo were arrested following a raid conducted at the arrival lounge of the airport yesterday, based on a tip-off.
The arrested man is a 31-year-old resident of Wellampitiya, and the woman is a 26-year-old resident of Angoda.
The Katunayake Police Narcotics Bureau is conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
