A 43-year-old man from Molpe, Moratuwa, was arrested by Panadura North Police on Tuesday (03 June) for possessing a pen-shaped firearm, three live bullets, and an empty casing.
The arrest occurred near the Horethuduwa Bridge in the Panadura North Police Division. Police said the suspect was in unlawful possession of the weapon and ammunition.
The Kalutara Division Criminal Investigation Unit is continuing the investigation. (Newswire)
