In a big update in connection with the stampede during the RCB IPL victory celebrations in Bengaluru, the police today arrested the Head of Marketing And Revenue of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
The RCB official is among four persons arrested by Bengaluru police over the deadly stampede near the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The action came a day after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ordered the arrest of executives from RCB, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), and event management firm DNA Entertainment Networks in the aftermath of the tragic stampede on Wednesday.
Eleven people were killed in the stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium as lakhs of fans gathered for the grand celebration. (Timesnownews)
