The southwest monsoon is expected to be strengthen over the island from 10th June 2025. Due to this, rainy weather condition is expected to enhance in the southwestern part of the island in the next few days from 10th June. Further, strong gusty winds are expected over the island and in the sea areas around the island.
General public is requested to be attentive to future forecasts and warnings issued by the Department of Meteorology in this regard.
