A foreign-made firearm was recovered in Mattakkuliya following the arrest of a suspect.
Police apprehended a 34-year-old resident of Gandara on Thursday in Samithapura.
Following interrogation of the suspect, officers recovered a foreign-made pistol, 10 bullets, and 12.5 grams of heroin.
