Police say that four people have drowned today (8) while bathing at the Ellewewa reservoir in Polonnaruwa. The victims were part of a group who had travelled from Ratmalana to visit relatives in Dimbulagala. Dimbulagala Police are conducting further investigations. 2025-06-08
