President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who visited the Mihintale Raja Maha Viharaya for the National Poson Festival, was conferred an honorary title by the Chief Incumbent of Mihintale, Ven. Walawahengunawe Dhamarathana Thera.
Accordingly, in recognition of the President’s full state patronage of this year’s National Poson Festival, he was bestowed with the honorary title “Maha Mahendra Prasadini.”
