The opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has decided to suspend a group of party members who had failed to support the formation of the Dambulla Pradeshiya Sabha.
As such, the SJB’s Management Committee and Working Council have decided to suspend the party membership of 06 members of the Dambulla Pardeshiya Sabha for failing to help elect the Chairman and Deputy Chairman.
According to an SJB statement, the party memberships of the 06 members have been suspended with immediate effect. (Newswire)
