The opposition led by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) today established power in the Ratnapura Pradeshiya Sabha.
The SJB-led opposition’s representative was elected Chairman of the Ratnapura Pradeshiya Sabha.
SJB candidate Hikkaduwa Liyanage Nimal Munasinghe was elected Chairman after obtaining a majority of votes during the election held today.
