The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has established power in the Mawanella Pradeshiya Sabha in the Kegalle District.
SJB candidate Puthula Udagama was elected Chairman of the Mawanella Pradeshiya Sabha during elections held today.
The SJB candidate was elected after winning a majority of votes in the local council, in which the SJB had secured a majority of seats in the 2025 Local Government Elections. (Newswire)
