The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) continued its downward trend for the fifth straight session today (19 June).
The CSE’s All Share Price Index (ASPI) closed at 16,818.21 points, after dropping by 253.23 points (1.48%).
A turnover of Rs. 3.3 billion was recorded during trading today, the CSE added.
The ASPI dropped by 210.51 points (1.22%) to close at 17,071.44 yesterday, while the S&P SL20 Index also fell by 57.43 points, closing at 5,094.31. (Newswire)
