Major General Manada Yahampath, Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry, has been appointed as the 47th Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.
According to the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Yahampath has been appointed with effect from today, 26 June 2025.
He replaces Major General Lanka Amarapala, who served as the 46th Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army from February 2025. (Newswire)
