A resident of Kurunegala was awarded the grand super prize of the National Lotteries Board, exceeding Rs. 470 million, the largest-ever lottery jackpot in Sri Lanka.
The cash cheque was handed over at the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) premises to Mr. Mayadunna from the Kurunegala District on Thursday (17).
It was handed over under the patronage of Colombo Mayoress Vraie Cally Balthazaar, with the participation of Deputy Mayor Hemantha Weerakoon, Chairman of the National Lotteries Board M.D.C.A. Perera, and General Manager A.M. Arif. (Newswire)
