Sri Lankan cricket legend Kumar Sangakkara has alerted the public about a scam involving the misuse of his image and voice through artificial intelligence.
In a post on social media, Sangakkara stated that scammers are using AI to create fake advertisements and videos featuring his likeness without his permission. He emphasized that he has no affiliation with the products promoted in these fraudulent ads.
“Don’t be fooled. Don’t share. Report them,” Sangakkara urged, calling on the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious content.
The former national captain also warned his followers not to trust or circulate these AI-generated clips. (NewsWire)
