Since our first day of operations on 19th April 2006, we have stayed true to our mission — delivering innovative, customer-centric financial solutions powered by technology and a commitment to excellence.
Over nearly two decades, Abans Finance has evolved into a dynamic and diversified financial institution, offering a full suite of products including Fixed Deposits, Savings, Gold Loans, Vehicle Loans, Mortgage Loans, Education Loans, and more — touching lives across the country.
A key turning point came in 2011, when we were listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange, enhancing transparency, governance, and investor confidence. By the end of FY 2024/25, our 11 branches and 8 customer service centers, supported by 467 dedicated employees, reflect our commitment to reaching more Sri Lankans with trusted financial solutions.
The journey from our modest beginnings to achieving an A- (lka) investment-grade rating by Fitch Ratings is marked by constant innovation, strategic alliances, and a passion for customer care.
2024/2025 – A Year of Breakthroughs
In the financial year 2024/25, Abans Finance PLC achieved exceptional growth:
- Profit Before Tax: LKR 951 million, a 344% increase
- Profit After Tax: LKR 426 million, up by 309%
- Net Operating Income: Doubled to LKR 2.07 billion
- Total Assets: Reached LKR 13.48 billion, up by 22%
- Customer Deposits: Rose to LKR 8.45 billion
