President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Mrs. P.A.J. Fernando as the Chief Secretary of the Uva Province, with immediate effect.
The appointment letter was handed over to Mrs. Fernando at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (28) by Presidential Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumaranayake.
Mrs. P.A.J. Fernando, a Special Grade Officer in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, previously served as the Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Cultural and Arts Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs, and Information Technology of the Western Province. (Newswire)
