The “Suryashakthi” solar power plant has been declared open in Vavunathivu, Batticaloa, by Minister of Energy Kumara Jayakodi.
The new solar power plant has been built with a capacity of adding 10 megawatts to the National Grid.
This is the first solar power plant in Sri Lanka to be constructed using precast pile structures. (Newswire)
