A massive fire has broken out on several boats docked at the Galle Fisheries Harbour.
The Galle Municipal Council Fire Unit, along with the Navy, the Galle District Disaster Management Unit, and members of the fishing community, have brought the blaze under control.
According to police, around four idle boats in the harbour premises have been destroyed.
The Galle Harbour Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
