Two individuals were reported dead after coming into contact with a power supply that had been illegally obtained in the Uragasmanhandiya area.
According to the Police, the illegal power supply had been obtained to protect an agricultural land near the Ambagaha Junction area from animals.
The deceased have been identified as residents of Uragasmanhandiya, aged 46 and 39 years.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the illegally obtained power supply.
The Uragasmanhandiya Police is conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
