Two unidentified men on a motorcycle, wearing clothing similar to the police ‘PT Kit’, attempted to open fire on a man known as ‘Pas Dileepa’ at his residence in Pathanduwana, Minuwangoda, police said.
According to investigators, the suspects approached the house and attempted to discharge their weapon, but the firearm misfired, preventing the attack. The assailants then fled the scene before they could be apprehended. Police have launched an investigation to identify and arrest the suspects. (Newswire)
