A disciplinary inquiry has been launched against Dr. Rukshan Bellana, the Deputy Director of the Colombo National Hospital, for making comments to the media regarding the health condition of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Deputy Health Minister said.
The Deputy Minister confirmed that Dr. Bellana’s statements to the media were not authorized and that the Health Ministry has initiated internal proceedings into the matter.
