Sri Lanka opener Nishan Madushka is likely to be ruled out of the second and final ODI against Zimbabwe due to injury, batting coach Thilina Kandamby said.
Kandamby noted that Nuwanindu Fernando is most likely to replace Madushka at the top of the order if he is unable to play.
“Nishan Madushka is injured and it’s most probable that Nuwanindu will open the batting,” Kandamby told reporters ahead of the game.
Sri Lanka, who lead the two-match series 1-0, will look to wrap up the series and secure their first away ODI series win in a decade in the decisive clash. (Newswire)
