President Anura Kumara Dissanayake visited Kachchatheevu Island today (01) after inaugurating several development projects in Jaffna.
Earlier today, he said the government remains committed to safeguarding Sri Lanka’s territorial integrity and will not compromise on sovereignty.
The President noted that he plans to meet with local fishermen to discuss their longstanding concerns and assured that their voices will be reflected in government decisions on the issue. (Newswire)
