The Sri Lankan Police have found over 100 kilos of chemicals, suspected to be used in the manufacturing of crystal methamphetamine (ICE), in Kandana.
According to the Police, the white-coloured substance was found in the land of a house in Kandana.
The Police state the substance was found disposed of at the site, while no suspects have been arrested in connection with it.
The Police further stated that the substance was discovered following investigations into a suspect, currently in custody.
It is reported that the stock of chemicals found in Kandana is similar to the stock recovered during a raid on a property in Thalawa, Middeniya, last week. (Newswire)
