The Matara Additional District Magistrate has been dismissed from service by the Judicial Service Commission.
According to local media, NewsFirst, she was dismissed after being found guilty following a disciplinary inquiry conducted by the Commission.
Meanwhile, the Mathugama Magistrate has announced her decision to resign from her post.
The resignation comes after she pleaded guilty before the Judicial Service Commission to the allegations levelled against her.
The Additional Magistrate of the Mathugama Court has been appointed as the acting magistrate until a new appointment is made. (Newswire)
