Sri Lanka Police has announced the fees for services obtained by the public from the Police Department.
Accordingly, the fees applicable for services provided by the Sri Lanka Police are as follows;
- Obtaining Police Clearance Reports (for overseas travel and related real-time services) – Rs. 5,000.00
- Broadcast Permit Fees
For up to 6 hours – Rs. 500.00
From 6 to 12 hours – Rs. 1,000.00
For more than 12 hours – Rs. 2,000.00
- Police Reports issued by divisional police stations for Middle Eastern countries – Rs. 500.00
- Police Reports issued by Officer-in-Charge (OIC) for domestic purposes only – Rs. 300.00
- Copies of complaints (per copy) – Rs. 50.00
The public has been urged to obtain official receipts for each of these payments. (Newswire)
