The Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (AASL) has announced that the restriction on the entry to the Departure Lobby at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for visitors during peak hours has been amended.
Accordingly, the restriction on visitors to the Departure Lobby will only apply on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10.00 p.m. to midnight.
Earlier, the AASL had announced that from Thursdays to Saturdays, visitors will not be permitted into the Departure Lobby from 10.00 p.m. to midnight.
The measure was introduced to ease congestion and ensure smoother operations for passengers and airport users. (Newswire)
