The immigration computer system at Katunayake Airport, which had been inactive, has been restored.
Reports confirm that the system was reactivated at 4.15 p.m., after remaining down for about 2 hours and 30 minutes since 1.45 p.m.
During the outage, both the arrival and departure counters of the Immigration Department were affected, causing major delays for travellers. (Newswire)
