Three people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a lorry and a van early this morning (Sept. 25) in Thalawa along the Kurunegala–Anuradhapura main road, police said.
The van, traveling from Anuradhapura towards Kurunegala, and the lorry, heading in the opposite direction, collided head-on.
The injured, including both drivers, were admitted to Thalawa and Anuradhapura hospitals. Three passengers of the van were pronounced dead. (Newswire)
