A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Bandivewa, Polonnaruwa, with 2.3 grams of heroin and Rs. 3.02 million believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking.
The arrest was made during a joint operation conducted by Polonnaruwa Police and the Manampitiya K9 Unit.
The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue. (Newswire)
