During a visit organized by the Communist Party of China, Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development Bimal Rathnayake met with Chen Gang, Secretary of the Guangxi Committee, and several other provincial officials for detailed discussions on October 12.
The discussions focused on the unique characteristics of Guangxi Province and the measures being taken to strengthen the local economy and improve the livelihoods of its people.
Minister Rathnayake also highlighted the rapid global advancement of artificial intelligence, noting that the talks explored new technologies in industry and service delivery, as well as potential initiatives to enhance cooperation across the East Asian region.
