Sri Lanka’s Yevan David made motorsport history on Sunday by winning the Rookie Championship title and finishing second overall in the 2025 Euroformula Open Championship, becoming the first Sri Lankan driver to achieve both feats.
The 18-year-old driver capped off a remarkable season at Italy’s iconic Monza Circuit, where he finished second in Round 2 before storming to victory in Race 3 of the final leg.
